With over 600 Lieder compositions to his name, Franz Schubert is hailed as the most prolific creator in this domain. He translated poetry into sound, breathing life into memorable musical works. His Lieder conceal a profound subtext, filled with intricate meanings and emotions, a treasure that only a few have managed to decipher in its depth. Despite departing this world prematurely at the age of 31, Schubert left behind a true musical treasure trove – nearly 1,000 compositions that continue to enchant us to this day. He once declared, “I was born to compose.”
