Every December, the days before Christmas are always emotional, bringing back the memories of the dramatic events that changed the life course of every Romanian.
Teodora Gheorghiu was part of a very intense evening with Verdi’s “Messa da Requiem” on the scene of the Romanian Radio Hall – in an in memoriam concert celebrating 30 years since the Romanian Revolution of December 1989.
She performed together with:
Mezzo-soprano Maria Miron, tenor Ovidiu Purcel and bassist Marius Boloș.
The National Radio Orchestra, under the baton of conductor David Crescenzi.
The Radio Academic Choir, directed by Ciprian Țuțu.
